10 Weeks to Radiant Health - FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions
I noticed that in each plan there is some type of cleanse included. Do I need to do that?Yes. In the past, we did not require clients to participate in the cleanse/detox portion of the program. They did not see results as quickly. The liver is the organ that processes hormones in our body and helps to maintain adequate levels of sex hormones such as estrogen and testosterone. Our cleanses (both the 10 Day and 21 Day) are aimed at "cleansing" the liver of excess hormones and reducing fatty liver deposits to assist in regulating the metabolism. Maintaining a healthy liver is essential to achieving hormonal balance.
Will I feel deprived or starved during the cleanse? We use the cleanses in all of the programs as a way to achieve hormonal balance which can then help to regulate our metabolism, reduce hormonal mood swings, and other symptoms associated with hormonal imbalances. The cleanses are not used as a tool for rapid weight loss and calorie restriction. Foods that help assist the liver in providing essential nutrients can be added in during the cleanse. If you are used to eating a lot of processed foods such as pasta, bread and crackers, then it may take some adjusting in the beginning.
What if I am a vegetarian? Can I still participate?Amino acids from high quality protein sources such fish and poultry help the liver to produce a substance called glutathione which helps the liver excrete excess estrogen. This program is not for strict vegetarians. Pesco-vegetarians, however, are able to participate in the 10 Weeks to Radiant Health.
I don''t think I have any hormonal imbalances - can i still participate?Hormonal imbalances can lead to issues that may not be so obvious, such as anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances (cortisol disregulation), and chronic inflammation/pain - to name a few. By regulating our hormones, we can see changes in other areas of our health where we may have issues.
I don''t have any of the issues listed above. Should I still consider this program?Absolutely! We are all struggling to achieve balance and keeping our liver and organs (as well as our mind) in good working order is essential to healthy and graceful aging.
